I'm a new member. There is now a discount of $5 per sim. The post office is on strike and it is impossible for me to receive the sim. Can I go to the store and buy one for $10 ? Then apply for a refund of $5 ?

Public Mobile has arrange for another courier to ship the sim card if you want to still order from them

However, you can go to pick one up from Telus or Koodo store for $10 or from Amazon for $5

check to see if there's a Mobile Klinik in your area, as they usually have the PM sims for about $10. If you do find one, then after activating your new account, message Customer Support to request credit to your account for the cost of the sim.
