Trouble Shooting Voicemail

I finished setting up my phone with Public Mobile, I am new. I set up my personal greeting, it says it’s active but yet when I use my husband‘s phone to call my number to test it my personal greeting doesn’t come on?

you need to activate your personal greeting

Call your voicemail., then manage your greetings, press 3, next manage your personal greetings, press 1, Finally to activate a personal greetting, press 1

Hi there, I did all that and it plays back and it sounds fine but when I try to test it from my husband‘s phone, my recorded message doesn’t come on. It’s just a general message. I wasn’t sure if it takes time for it to activate because I’m new to Public Mobile I just finished setting my phone up a couple hours ago
