Will Wifi-Calling be coming to PM?

I just signed up with PM but noticing a significant reduction in bars compared to Fido. I live in Mississauga which i assumed would have good reception. My calls drop in the basement and it switched to 3G from LTE. Never had this issue with Fido or any other carrier I've had.

Will wifi-calling be coming anytime to PM as this would help.

Last time the oracles asked PM management about Wifi calling (couple of months ago). The answer: no immediate plans for Wifi calling to be implemented. It would be a nice feature to have though.

@Princin If your phone drops from LTE to 3G on phone calls it suggests an issue with VoLTE. What phone do you have?

@Princin IPhone 15 Pro should not have a problem with VoLTE. If you'd like to take this up with customer support open a ticket at the chat icon bottom right of this page.

if you have constant trouble with connection in the basement, you might want to check with carriers that have Wifi Calling included in the plan, check Koodo and Telus first for their Black Friday promos. They are as good as PM's

Thanks I'll do this. I dont see the VoLTE option under voice and data.

@Princin Most people are not seeing a VoLTE toggle on iPhones although one or two have mentioned having one. My iPhone 13 doesn't but it does use VoLTE. Public Mobile enables it by default in "whitelisted" (and maybe other) phones without a toggle. All iPhones from 8 onwards should have VoLTE enabled whether there's a toggle or not.
