Hello PM Community,
I'm a new PM customer who had roaming issues with my past provider (arguing this on over half my bills and price is why I moved here). I am often on Lake Erie or sometimes by Niagara Falls and caught US cell towers. Just because I am near to the US doesn't mean I want an additional charge. I also do travel a lot with my phone, however if I need connectivity when overseas, I'll just get a much cheaper temporary eSIM.

I have roaming turned off on my phone. Is there anything else I could/should be doing?

I wonder if anyone else has this issue? Or has some advice? I did see a few posts on roaming, but not particularly this scenario.
Thanks in advance!
Mark

PM is prepaid, so you won't get extra roaming charges

There's no traditional roaming fees with a prepaid service such as you have with PM.

This is a prepaid service so you'll never have any surprise charges here. It either works or it doesn't work.

Having said that, there are Can/US and Can/US/Mex roaming plans available that would give you US service for no additional charge anyway. Not sure what plan you're on.
