topic Verizon in Get Support

I have Canadian Moto g LTE, not 4 or 5g. When I select Verizon in US it connects but I cannot call out or receive phone calls or text messages. It seems I call only call or text with T-Mobile and that has weakest signal were I am in US. Had anyone else experienced this or have a solution. Thanks

AT&T only works for messaging. Signal for At&T and T-Mobile is weak were I am in AZ. Verizon is strong but I cannot send or receive phone calls or messages even though I am connected.

thanks @Handy1 . I just want to confirm which Moto G. You are not android users, you might not aware there are different Moto G , all the way from 2013

and @Randy52 , if yours is Moto G 5G, then it should be able to connect VoLTE. But if yours is an older one, then you can only use voice with T-Mobile 2G, which they are slowly turning it off

So, for now, best is to use VoIP app like TextNow or Fongo to make calls. Or simply use app like Whatsapp
