I have an eSIM subscription - switched from iPhone to Android. I’m not sure what to do in order to get my number working on the Android.

not much to do

if you have physical sim card, just move the sim from iPhone to the Android phone

if you have esim, download PM app on the Android phone and login and go to Account page to buy new esim

and of course, you will use device switching tool to move contents to your Android phone

@siegejanko simply download the public mobile app on your android phone and purchase a new esim.
