      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello.&amp;nbsp; I have both my phone and my wife's phone on another provider.&amp;nbsp; I want to move just my phone to PM.&amp;nbsp; On the Transfer Number page where you have to approve the transfer, it has you agreeing to port the number AND cancel your account with the old provider.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; I want to confirm that this process will only move my phone to PM, and will leave my previous provider account containing my wife's phone intact.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;HI&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/497341"&gt;@Kevin_B&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;no worries, your account with the other carrier won't be closed as you still have another line there.&amp;nbsp; Many were in similar situation (port only one line out from another account with couple lines) and they went well without hiccup&lt;/P&gt;</description>

BTW...why not just start wife on new PM account as well !!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
