How to make and receive calls while roaming

Hello. Can anyone help me understand why I can't make or receive calls while roaming on USA networks? Tried all of them. Data is fine and texting fine. I have a 5g Samsung phone ,Canada,USA plan.

@Westcoast123 Best to have phone on 4G/LTE not 5G but If your phone is not in the PM volLTE white list making calls will be difficult and you have to rely on trying phone set to 2G/3G and connect to T mobile for voice

Thank you my phone is not on the list. Very interesting for a decently expensive Samsung phone that's still getting all security updates etc. At least I have half a Canada/USA plan I guess. Lol

@Westcoast123 You can also try download text now app and pick number and you can make calls that way or use WhatsApp be you only other work around short of buying new phone LOL
