There is this number calling me several times a day.Does anybody know what this number is? How can I block it?

@Sherry1313, blocking a number is done on your phone, and depends on the the phone. iPhones, Android phones and windows phones will all be different. What kind of phone do you have?

Assuming Android, you can try long pressing on the number and you should then get the option to block it. Failing that you can give either True Caller or Mr. Number a try.

@Sherry1313, On my Samsung (Android), If i select a call from the call log, I have a 'More' option (top right). From there, there is a block/unblock number option.

Even if you do not have a Samsung, your phone dialer app must have something similar.

Some cell phone carriers do offer call management and blocking services. Public Mobile does not.

You'll have to use your phone's bulit-in call blocking options, or you can install a third-party software app that sometimes has more features such as answering and hanging up so that they can't leave a message).

"01" is not a valid Country Code. ("+1" is used for North America, Canada, USA, etc.)

"124" is not a valid Area Code.

"899" is a valid Area Code. For commercial toll free numbers in Mexico.

I think this is some kind of spam/scam/telemarketing thing with some kind of technical Caller ID hack (similar to the "phone phreaking" used by ancient spammers/scammers who evolved into modern hackers). Block it.
