"Why is it that other Public Mobile users can choose a Black Friday deal that offers a $29 per month 5G plan with 10GB of data in the US, Canada, and Mexico, but I don't see this option available to me?"

@LayLiu Typically most people are only seeing plans that are more expensive than the one they currently have, or is a targeted special offer. Another reason is when a plan is for new activations only. So basically if you log in to your account and select change subscription, what is on offer there is what you can choose from.

not everyone sees same plan selection now. So, what plan amount you have? you see the $35 Can/US/Mex plan? if you see it, maybe you can change to that?

or you see any plans below the $30 at all? if you see any, you can try to trick to change to one of those below $30 plan and the $29 Can/US/Mex plan might show up after

@LayLiu The $29 plan would not be available to you if your current plan is more than $29. What are you paying now?

I'm currently on the $23 plan and the $29 plan is available for me.

As a general observation, PM will not offer you a plan which is cheaper than the one that you already have. Sometimes, there are exceptions to this general rule but it is rare.

The $29 plan is very attractive to me, but I have resisted changing. Do I want to pay an extra $6 per month or $72 per year going forward with very little realistic chance of downgrading to a cheaper plan in the future? I rarely use more than one or two GB per month. I have not been to Mexico since 2007. I make the odd trip to Hawaii every year but a travel e-sim would be very cheap. Maybe I will switch plans if I retire and buy a used motorhome to travel all over North America. Until then, I would rather save the money.
