Hi everyone! Does anyone know, if I would be able to receive texts from Canadian banks to my Alberta (403) number while i am away in Mexico? I am afraid that with the new Can US Mex plan I will only be able to call and text to a Mexican number from Canada. However, i specifically need to be receiving texts from Canada when I myself am away in Mexico.

The plan says: Unlimited Canada, US and Mexico wide minutes and messaging

All services that you can use in Canada will also work in Mexico, so yes.

It would be like you were sitting on your couch at home and you get a call or a text.....You answer it. BUT!!! Make sure you have Data Roaming turned ON. It will NOT work if it isn't. You should turn ON Data Roaming now and forget about it. You wont get charged for roaming EVER.
