Why do I not have access to calls and verification texts to my cell number while in St. Martin in the Caribbean? What can I do to make and receive calls?

hi @HeidiE PM does not have service in St.Martin. It only has service in Canada, US and Mexico

Public Mobile has no service outside of Canada, the United States and Mexico. If you need cell service then you will have to get a travel SIM/eSIM. You can also use text now and WhatsApp on wifi.

If you want to make and receive calls you will need to either use a calling app on Wi-Fi or purchase a plan from a carrier that offers service in St. Martin.

Like many other prepaid carriers Public Mobile offers no service whatsoever outside of its service area, which in this case is Canada, Mexico and the USA.

I sent you some information to your inbox for Airalo. I use this esim for data all the time when travelling. They do offer service in the caribbean. Hope this helps you.
