I need to pay with vouchers as I cannot pay by card, but my local Telus shop does not sell them. Where can i buy them? Also, why can I not just set up a direct debit from my bank account? This is the most bizarre system…

PM accepts only credit or (some) debit cards. No preauthorized debit from plain chequing/saving accounts.

@Isobelduxfield You can buy at shoppers drug mart / 7-11 /shell gas / staples / canadien tire

and load the funds *611 or in your account payment page

So i need to purchase a new one each month? From what i see, the cost of each (https://www.recharge.com/en/ca/public-mobile) does not actually align with the cost of a tariff. How do I pay for exactly how much I need?

If your bank offers Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit that may allow you to pay directly from your bank account without a credit card.

@Isobelduxfield Are you existing customer ? Or trying to join ? If existing customers you get it for the mount of your plan and you will pay tax on top of that to cover plan and yes do this each month or load extra money on for two monthes worth at a time if you like . But if your just trying to join you need credit card / master card to get started or pre paid vanilla visa credit card / master card then use vouchers after that runs out

Adding recharge .com adds a fee on top of plane price and tax for the online convenience

get a pre-paid loadable visa or debit at many retail outlets, even Canada Post has them available.

You usually get charged a bit extra if you buy from one of these websites online. If you purchase it in person then you can pay for just the amount of account credits that you're purchasing.

www.muskbird.com has on line vouchers and fee is a bit cheaper than most others.
