@dennisfox pM only updates its usage history 2x a day so your just seeing the last 12 hours used . So when it updates over night /while you sleep it’s from the previous 12 hours use nothing to worry about

@dennisfox more than likely software updates that are happening. You should be able to go into your phone's settings and have updates take place only over WiFi which should help. You can also go into your phone's settings to see which apps are using data and how much

I would guess your phone is doing something while not in use (background refresh, software updates, fetching emails, etc). You can go into your phone settings and turn off "download over mobile" (sometimes it says "download on wifi only" so that you will only download software updates, etc while using wifi. I would also double check to make sure you are connected to wifi throughout the day/nighttime hours and not accidentally using data.
