I looked at the $30 US-Canada plan and need clarification on texting when in the US or Germany. Can two Public Mobile users with this plan text each other WHILE they are both in the US or Germany? The fineprint seems to imply that this is not possible..."International picture and text messaging includes text messages that are sent from or received in Canada."

You will not have service in Germany.

hi @BillWitt yes, you can use your data,voice and text service in US like in Canada.

so,you cam text to Germany while you are in US and receive your German friend's text

@BillWitt Yes this is a true snow bird plan you can call to and from each country CAN/US in either country using all the features call text and data . So if you have calling to Germany on your plan you can do that from Canada or The US unless it’s international mins from the add on . Then you can only making calls from Canada to abroad . But you will not be able to use your phone in Germany as PM. Only has roaming in the U.S. . If your in Germany you would need a local pre paid data sim or travel eSIM like airalo
