50G Canada-US Data plan

Im using 50G Canada-US data plan.

I've asked several time, Do i need to roam when I go to US? but public mobile agency they said no. don't need to roam and hust use your data. but Im in US. It doesn't work.

Do I need to add on roaming plan?

You don't need to buy an add-on as it's included in your plan. But you do need to have roaming enabled in your phone settings.

@icpkdasm that plan has roaming built into it , just turn on data roaming in phone settings and set phone to 4G/LTE not 5G and make sure your connected to T mobile AT&T or Verizon

@icpkdasm No extra charges PM is pre paid service and you can only use what you have already paid for . You will never have a surprise bill with public mobile

How can I set 4G/LTE? once I turn roaming on it set 5G automatically.

@icpkdasm 5G may work but’s most have had better luck with 4G/LTE it’s in your phone setting cellular > cellular data options >voice & data and choose LTE

It's fine to connect to 5G as long as it's working. All PM plans are broadcast over a 5G signal, just with various speed caps.
