Can’t text

Hello

upon returning from Europe and receiving my regular public mobile service I am unable to iMessage certain friends with android phones. I have gone into settings and clicked all necessary buttons but I am still unable to send texts. Any tips?

@Kdhd Did you look to see if your phone number is checked under Send & Receive in Messages settings?

@Kdhd .go into phone settings and turn off iMessage and turn off face time then turn phone off for 2-5 mins power back on and turn iMessage back on along with face time and it’s should be working again

It sounds like an issue sending MMS, SMS or RCS. iMessage isn't available when sending messages to Android devices. Are you at least receive messages from them?

@Kdhd , by chance do you still have a second SIM either p-SIM or e-SIM installed on the phone and set as default? Remove/delete the SIM and set all defaults to the Public Mobile SIM.

do you still have the travel sim card or esim in the phone? delete the esim and reboot and Reset Network Settings on the phone
