This is not a reply as such but I will be travelling to USA. Based on the advertising I assumed there would be no roaming charges when I used Public Mobile in USA with the plan I have.($34/month, 50Gb Can/USA at 5G. Unlimited Canada and US wide minutes and messaging plus...

Am I wrong?

if you have a Canada/US plan, you don't need to buy any roaming plan, and you use your phone in US like you are in Canada, voice, text and data will all work

just notice voice could still be tricky if your phone is not a VoLTE whitelisted phone with PM

and when you just arrive in US , you will get a text saying you need roaming addon. Just ignore that as everyone will get that

make sure you enable Roaming data on your phone, and make sure your phone connect to T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon.
