first, we are just customers and can't help

Plus PM has no access to Rogers account

if you list Rogers sim, call Rogers and see if they accept verbal approval to the port request

I am wanting to transfer my daughter's phone number from rogers, but it was recently stolen. So I don't have access to sms or anything other information. I have access to the rogers account but they told me that I would need to make the transfer from public mobil.

How do I get the information I need without going through the process of setting the phone number up with rogers again?

Thanks on advance for your help.

So are you transferring FROM Rogers to Public Mobile or Public Mobile TO Rogers??

If transferring from Public Mobile TO Rogers you can create a ticket and advise them the phone was stolen.

If you're transferring from Rogers TO Public Mobile, you just need to have Rogers place a note on their account to confirm the porting request.

Can't you just do a sim swap with rogers since you have access to your rogers account? Then port to PM?

@JaredPenner

Since your daughter is still with Rogers. You need to get a SIM from them so they can transfer her account to the new Rogerd SIM.

Once she have a replacement phone and a PM SIM. She needs to download the PM app on the new phone and start the activation of the PM SIM. She need to leave the Rogers SIM in the phone and wait for the text from Rogers confirming with YES that she is porting her number over from Rogers. The Rogers SIM will continue to work up to 2 hours. Then power off the phone and switch to the PM SIM.

Or if she doesn’t want to go to all the trouble. Just contact Rogers and cancel her account and activate the PM SIM with a new number.
