i have a pixel 8 and so far things are fine, however i will be traveling to usa and i see everyone advising to enable VOLTE , i tried to do it however what i see is on pixel 8 there is no volte option shown under sim setting for public mobile! any advice on the same?

There's isn't any VoLTE setting to be enabled on a Pixel 8. VoLTE is enabled by default. There's no settings item for this in the regular menus.

HI @Sura

VoLTE is enabled by default if you have a whitelisted phone, which you have.

and PM has hide the option as well. So in short, you are fine, you don't need to do anything and you are using VoLTE already

just make sure you enable Roaming data when you are in US and make sure your phone connects to T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon and manual connect it if needs

@Sura On my Pixel 5 I open the dialer and:

Dial *#*#4636#*#* .
Tap "Phone information" menu
Scroll down and you can see it is on but greyed out. Not something you can change. See pic below.
