Short answer: We don't know.

For CPO, I think even PM does not know much what will be coming. I think it really depends what their CPO source offer them rather than they actively shopping for a specific model

Good news is that.. it's an iPhone, very likely they will get SE at some point in the future.

Bad news is .. they are still selling iPhone XR CPO, which was released back in 2018, so, there will probably at least a year (possibly two) before we will see iPhone SE (2nd gen) on the CPO list

PM is owned by Telus - appears that they don't sell...yet

Mobile Klinik is owned by Telus - They do sell. It is too much though.

New SE or 2nd gen = same phone.

1st gen is old. In the 5S 6S era.

Old SE and 6S has same guts.

Nobody knows. And who knows how PM gets these refurbished phones...

Look at kijiji, you might get lucky to find well preserved, like new, un-abused phone.

If you'd rather not gamble on PM getting any, have a look at Orchard; https://www.getorchard.com/iphone-se-for-sale/ Couple of friends bought there and were happy. PM does have longer warranty, though.

We have XR & SE at home. Partner likes the small form factor of the SE; for me facial recognition tips the balance to XR.

This isn't correct. The iPhone SE (2nd Generation) was released last year in 2020, but the iPhone XR is much older.
