    <description>&lt;P&gt;We've been using Public mobile for over a year. We're on the lowest plan and only have our basic communication using data... texting, messenger, emails etc. Data for everything else is turned off.&amp;nbsp; That format has been working well, but in the past few months we noticed that even on the day our plan is auto renewed, we lose 100 MB immediately. This happens even when we are at home, connected to wifi.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes, we use up all our 250 MB within a week. I've been checking to see if there are any apps that have accidentally had the data turned on. Nothing seems unusual. Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

That or turn off mobile data when at home on wifi to be certain&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've seen alot of complaints like this recently.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So far I don't have that problem myself... yet. I also have same plan.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know. What I do is the mobile data is always turned off. Only turned on when outside of home if internet is needed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Wifi is always on. Auto connect.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Something changed in the Public system a while ago. It now reports 100MB over and above actual usage in the overview whenever your phone is online.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Even more alarming initially, as I am on the 250MB plan, so 100MB used on day 1 seemed like quite a lot. But indeed, if I switched my phone to airplane mode, the data usage went down by 100MB after refreshing. I wonder when this changed? I guess this is a peanuts amount of data on most of the ginormous data plans many people now have though...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So... to see true usage, reload usage while phone is in airplane mode. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
