Do I need the US roaming add on if I have a Canada-US plan?

Hi!
I’m new to public mobile and am planning a trip to the US. i assume my Canada-US plan includes both countries and I don’t need to buy the US roaming add on but I’m not sure. It’s just not something I am use to and would hate to use my phone for a week and get a crazy $$$ bill afterwards. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and any tips for making sure it’s set up correctly in the US if there is anything I need to do would be awesome!

Without Canada-US Plan, the US roaming (data, talk and text) add-ons are all included

You DO need roaming actually....Canada-US only works this side of the border....Gouging at its best again....

The above information that you have provided isn't correct. The plans specifically advertised as Canada-US plans do include roaming services in the US. As such, the reply by htidegnow saying that no roaming add-on is required is accurate. There were some past plans that included US long distances but not roaming, but those were never advertised as being Canada-US plans.

Sorry, but you're not right. Roaming service is 100% included with the plans advertised as being Canada-US plans.

you DO NOT need it

Example below is a Canada-US plan, clearly said data can be used within Canada and US and Unlimited Canada and the US wide minutes and messaging (which mean you can call and send text from Canada or US to Canada or US)

and tell you soemething, I have the Canada-US plan and I used it in US. Data/Voice/Text all worked in US WITHOUT any roaming add-on. The name ADD-ONs because they are add-on to those Canada only plan

So, you got a confirmation from something who have the plan here. And no Gouging, this is real, this is a good deal

@jujubeam BTW, no matter what, there could never be a 'crazy $$$ bill afterwards'. Since Public Mobile is prepaid, there are never ay charges after the fact.
