      <title>Not receiving texts after number porting</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I activated a new SIM with Public and requested a number port from another carrier. I confirmed the port with the other carrier, but still am not receiving texts via Public. It has been 24 hours since I started this process, well beyond the 5 business hours stated in the documentation.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;sms or iMessage that you are not getting? sometimes it is iPhone problem after number ported&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I had to submit a ticket and the agent&amp;nbsp;refreshed my network and asked me to restart my phone. After doing this, SMS was working. I don't think there was any way to enable this without contacting tech support, for anyone else having this issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
