Trying to switch to public. The number porting has been messed up. I've contacted the service provider and they advised no number transfer has taken place.

I have the same problem. My phone is showing two sim cards like I am still linked to my old provider. And I cannot call certain people (specifically the members of my family that also tried to switch to Public Mobile). Text and data are not working. And it is impossible to contact any customer service. It has been two days since we switched. Starting to regret switching.
