US add on talk and text won’t connect to network

How do I make my android phone work in the US? I added talk and text. Txt work but can’t make any phone calls

When you use your Public Mobile service while in Canada, does it stay connected to the LTE network during phone calls? Phone devices that Public Mobile isn't allowing to use use VoLTE would be forced to only use the T-Mobile 2g network while in the US.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I believe it does say LTE when I’m in Canada. I have tried connecting to a T mobile network in the State if NY but still not working. Are you saying Public Mobile isn’t allowing a connection? Why did they sell me the add on then?
