Data usage increased with same phone use??

Has anyone else noticed their data usage increase in the last month or 2? Since these super cheap 40/50GB plans have come out I am getting super close to reaching my monthly data limit with no change in the way I use my phone, whereas before on 20GB I'd never get close!

Any ideas?

I've noticed a slight increase in data usage because a few power outage in my area. It consumes data when my home wifi was out.

Other than that data usage was normal.

@Hopeful-hope Are you checking data usage in the app or in your phone's settings? The app includes past usage of bonus data add-ons in the total. In the app go to Usage Breakdown to see usage in the current billing cycle.
