No voicemail notification

I haven’t received any voicemail notification since using public mobile. I asked my friend to leave me a message but there’s no notification. When I dail voice mail , I can hear the message. I am using iPhone. Did anyone have similar issue before and know how to fix it?

@Ogh Make sure live voicemail is turned off and see if that helps

Go to setting, phone, turn off Live Voicemail

Thanks for reply but I don’t have live voicemail as I am still using older version of iOS

you might need to update iOS, many ran the update and fixed the notifications problem

Not sure if you still have the no voicemail notification issue, but I had a similar situation. When you call the voicemail, press 4 to get into "personal options" then press 3 for "notification options", make sure the notification (3) is enabled and make sure (4 urgent) and (5 extended) are both disabled. I think if 4 is enabled you will only receive "urgent" notifications. That fixed my issue.
