My don’t I get wifi calling from public mobile? Lots off place I go got wifi and no cell service. If I had wifi calling it would be great.

@Bromley many has asked for wifi calling but no, Public Mobile doesn't have this feature at this time. 😒

HI @Bromley No Wifi calling. If that is a must, you need to look for Koodo or Telus. I think only Tier 2 and 1 has that service included

One option is to download WhatsApp as long as both parties have this app using your PM number through wifi.

The way that both parties are required to use WhatsApp is a pretty big restriction. This isn't actually Wi-Fi calling.

I don’t find it is restricted at all. All my friends and family around the world are on WhatsApp.
I agree that WhatsApp is not a true wifi calling but it is an alternative.

It is not a usual option with most phone companies to have wifi calling. Other apps are available for that.

Most cell phone companies actually do have Wi-Fi calling. It's just that Public Mobile doesn't have it. There are no apps for Wi-Fi calling. Wi-Fi calling using the regular cell phone companies infrastructure after using a standard internet connection. If there's app such as Viber, Messenger, or Textnow, that isn't Wi-Fi calling.
