To activate a new account, you need to have a Canadian Credit card or credit debit card, so prepaid visa may not work.

To add fund to your account, you can use prepaid visa.

You need REAL credit/(some) debit card to make payments.

Which prepaid card are you planning to use? Some customers have been successful in using some prepaid credit cards?

Public mobile also does accept Visa debit cards, which most Canadian banks do offer. Other options including purchasing payment vouchers from stores (ie. Shoppers) and online vendors like muskbird.com (service fee applies)

Koho is the only prepaid credit card I am aware of that works.

no, gneral Visa prepaid or MC Prepaid I got from supermarket both worked
