Voicemail doesn't seem to work.

I can't seem to retrieve voicemail and my custom greeting is not what people hear when they get it. The custom greeting is indicating active. Callers can leave a message that has a generic greeting but there is no message or notification of one.

Any idea's ? Service is 5G .

hi @HSW1 is that just a notification problem?? if you check voicemail, is the message there?

there has been questions about VM notifications once in a while, a OS updated or turn off Live Voicemail on iPhone would fix the problem

@HSW1 If an iPhone running ios17 you need to tap on the voicemail symbol bottom right of the phone app to access Live Voicemail messages. If you don't want to use Live Voicemail then toggle it off in settings as @hTideGnow suggested. It's in Settings - Phone then scroll down to Live Voicemail and toggle it to OFF.

Please disregard... I found the answer in a previous post... IOS 17 Live voicemail
