Thanks, @BKNS27. so far so good after resetting cellular network settings. Will keep an eye on it for a few days and continue testing. BTW, I was answering another call at lunch and now with Public I can't put the other call on hold. Is that a limitation of Public? Same with no wi-fi calling?

I ported over from Fido to Public yesterday. Sometimes when someone tries to call me it's silent on their end and the don't hear any ringing. It shows up like a normal call on my end, but I don't hear anything either. This has happened a few times today. When I googled, I've read that it may be a porting issue. Can someone from Public support look into this?

The Fido service stopped working about an hour after initiating the port. It is an intermittent issue too. Was testing with my wife's phone calling my phone. Sometimes the call will work no problem, sometime it will happen and I hear nothing. Happened when someone else called me earlier first call didn't work, second call did.

Hence, the lower plan fees.

There should be call holding but no wifi calling.

I use WhatsApp with my PM number on wifi.

Everything seems ok now, I started a support ticket and they "refreshed the plan provisioning", in combination with resetting my cellular network settings that must have fixed the issue. Calls are coming in ok and I was able to place one on hold.
