topic Port issue? in Get Support

Hi,

My wife recently signed up with an esim on her new S24. She was assigned a new number 555-555-5555 (example). The following day we ported her number over from her old phone. All appears to have went well porting over her number (settings on phone show her ported number) but when she texts me it shows it's coming from the 555 number even though her phone and PM app show the ported number.

Any ideas? Thanks for any help

The issue was with the RCS chats settings.

To fix the issue she had to go to Settings - Apps - Messages (white bubble with blue word bubble) - Notifications - Configure in messages - RCS chats - Turn on RCS chats - toggle that from of to on and then it'll load the ported number
