no problem. The plan is just about speed. 5G plan just mean it can be as fast as 250Mpbs. You can use your 4G phone with a 5G plan and use the 4G network and get a good speed like a 5G phone

Hello,

I just wanted to make sure there no problem with me signing up for a 5G plan but my current phone is only 4G compatible.

Yes, it's really a "5G speed" plan, not a 5G only plan. All plans have access to the same 3G, LTE and 5G networks, just at different speeds.
