Hello… I would like to get an eSIM. What is the process for the same?

@Abhinandan, it's very straight forward, you can order it directly from the PM app that you should have installed on your phone, go to the Account tab and click on Purchase SIM card, there you will see the option to order eSIM ($5) or physical SIM card ($10). Before ordering just confirm that your phone is eSIM compatible. I have one myself and it was easy to order and setup

remember one thing...if you have an esim and ever want to upgrade to a new phone...now you need a new esim again, whereas your hard sim will work in most every cellphone with a sim slot.

But at the same time we might start seeing more new phones without a physical SIM card slot. In the US my sister-in-law was very surprised to find out the latest iPhone 15's do not have a SIM card slot anymore, they're going with eSIM only
