Overcharges on EXT network

Wanted to make sure that if i am out of the PM main network and connect to a network name “EXT” won’t charge me extra on data. Thank you.

PM is prepaid and you won't get extra charge

Most the time 'EXT' wont work. It will work only in some area, like BC. And to use EXT network, you need to make sure your Roaming data is enabled on your phone

But yes, no extra charge

im in BC, and rn on a hike outside of Victoria. Noticed that my phone switched to EXT. I was worried

Hello @avishany

Public Mobile has arrangement's with Rogers and Bell to be on their networks when the Telus network is not available. So if you're on EXT, don't worry about it. Also, you have to remember the most important thing. Public Mobile is PREPAID service. You pay for what you get and don't get charged a penny more.
