Why is it I have four bars but the network is so slow I can't even watch a video all it does is buffer

Try selecting the 4G (LTE) network to see if that changes things.

In my experiences, a VPN introduces one more possible point of trouble and can actually slow things down more.

I don't run a VPN and I'm on 4g it was all good up until a week or two ago

how slow is slow? download an app and check the speed and post us the result

try both 4G and 3G (and maybe 5G) , and the speed of each network
