Hey, got a new phone (moto g power the) and keep getting "cannot send txt error 38" message when trying to send messages. Will also sometimes get repeat messages sent to me up to like 10 times and texts will all come at the same time in clusters for some reason. Help!

Yes, you might not be in Quebec, but this affects outside of Quebec and affects text and even connection . But you can try using 3Gz just change the network mode

@UncleAndre there is some sort of system issue right now sending/receiving texts and calls. Not sure if that is the same thing you are experiencing.

We're you able to do this on Tuesday without problems? Do you have data ?

Start by turning the phone on and off. You could also try to test the sim card in another phone.

If those doesn't work, reset the network.
