You may currently be experiencing a major network failure of wireless services in Western Canada. Calls and SMS messages will continue as normal.

It is labeled as a Hardware issue, likely in the core network of the Western Canada server, https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Get-Support/Network-sharing-explained/td-p/129092/page/2

I live in Alberta and am not currently experiencing it, so it might also be a RAN issue on a number of towers at once.

There is another outage of cellular due to a fire located in the Montreal (Mount Royal, Outremont), Quebec region. It will affect ALL things like Data, Cell calls, and SMS messaging.

@hTideGnow - Yes, it might just be in Manitoba, but must got reports from people all over Western Canada.
