not receiving calls?

I am not receiving text codes or call from close friends? They are being told I am unavailable! Not sure what to do or check? No settings have been changed recently?

I need to be reachable for Dr appointments etc. We have no landline anymore!

the Telus outage said Quebec, but we are pretty sure that includes Ontario

If I was affected by an outage then I wouldn’t be able to call out? …but I seem to be able to call some but not everyone? …but my phone isn’t ringing when people call me, and they get my voicemail? I’m able to text in and out, focus is off, silence is off, volume is on, calls on other devices is off. Do sim cards get old or expire?

I'm trying to figure out if it is my iphone (it’s a 7 🥴) since it’s erratic? Some things work, some don’t!
