After 11 loyal years I'm saying good riddance to Public Mobile. I've been paying $45 a month for 15 gig plan. They were to upgrade me to 20 gigs and never did. No rewards for loyalty. Only to new customers. Bye public Mobile.

Granted, the loss of Rewards is a big change that affects us all. We will get Points which is something anyhow...not as good...but it's something to help. Otherwise the PM / Telus service itself is good, right ?

It’s a good idea to check PM’s plan offerings at least once a week, if not daily. You could have been on a much less expensive plan for quite a few months already (as an example, 50GB for $34).

Look at what PM is offering for existing customers.

$19/month for 1 GB LTE

$29/month for 10 GB LTE

$34/month for 50 GB Canada/US 5G

$40/month for 75 GB Canada/US 5G

Some of these plans may be cheaper than some of the grandfathered plans.

For example, it makes sense for any old $25 plan 1GB 3G to switch over to the $19 plan. Basically paying the same without the legacy rewards (ie. autopay and loyalty).

I agree that no rewards for loyalty, but you should have switched your plan many times, paying $45 for $45 is a lot, there was many offers from public mobile over last few years, that should saved you a lot.
