No need to purchase a SIM card. Just take the existing one out, and put it in the new phone, @Mike1099

(EDIT: presuming you don't prefer using e-SIM, in which case on the PM app, acquire a new one for the new device) 🙂

If you are a brand-new user in PM, yes you've got to buy a new SIM - either a physical or an e-SIM. You might not to pay for it in some cases such as a new user welcoming promotion as it's exempted by the company.

If I purchase a used android phone, (I currently have an Samsung A5), do I understand correctly that I simply swap the sim card, and there is no further set up to start using the new phone?
