Sorry, but Public Mobile only provides roaming service in the United States.

@Zeddybear PM doesn't roam outside of the USA. You'll need to get a local SIM or prepurchase an ESIM before you leave. There are many ESIM vendors like eskimo or Airalo.

I always get an esim from Orange Holiday for Europe. For €19.99, I get 2 weeks, 12GB and a European telephone number which allows me to make unlimited calls and texts throughout Europe. Having a real telephone number is very useful when trying to contact my hotel, make dinner reservations or calling attractions for information, etc. The esim also gives 30 minutes of international calling and 200 international texts which allow you to communicate back to Canada. Of course, you can use the mobile data and Wi-Fi to use WhatsApp if you have friends that also use the same app. Good luck.

Local sim in Europe will be great and in most of the cases, it’s cheaper than roaming services.
