International Calls/Texts Outside Canada

Hi,

I'm planning to travel outside Canada and am unsure if I can receive text messages or calls while abroad. During my previous trip to Asia, I was unable to receive SMS or calls. I remember my plan should cover international calls and texts, but it didn't work for my previous international trips. Do I need to buy any add-ons?

PM add-on for international calling are to specific countries while you are making the calls while you are in Canada.

If you are outside of Canada and USA, you will need to purchase a local SIM or eSIM from that country.

Public Mobile does not offer any roaming service outside of the United States and Canada. Any international calling add-ons are only to call those places from Canada. So no add-on you can purchase will give you service outside of those two countries.
