In addition to the 10 points once a year, you get 5% back in points on what you pay each month. Depending on what plan you are on, you will likely not get $5 back each month, but you will get something.

While unfortunate, this is the direction they have decided to go.

Recently forced into points program. I was previously getting $5 back per month because I’ve used public mobile for over 5 years. Now it seems they changed it to 10 points for every 12 months. This is less than $1 back per month and doesn’t reward staying longer than a year.

Will I now only receive this 10 points once per year? Or will I receive points every month to replace the $5 incentive I was previously receiving?

So confirming that the points plan has made my bill $50.04 + tax more expensive per year?

Plan prices have only increased. I’ve paid $25 for over 6 years and never saw a price decrease.

PM currently has a $19-1GB plan for existing customers. It is the same $25 plan, but better, it comes wirh 4G data

So, if you are interested in the $19 plan, go My Account, click Change Subscription and select the $19 plan. Use Change on Renewal to schedule a plan change

It is replaced with 5% back in points on what you pay, so the amount you get will depend on what plan you have.
