Mobile hotspot not working

Ever since switching to public, mobile hotspot does not work, worked fine with other carriers previously. Same devices.

I’ve submitted questions about it but no response for months

@Nateklein PM does not block hotspot

iPhone or Android??

start with Reboot phone and Reset All Networks

for iPhone:

Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data > Mobile Data ptions > Cellular (or Mobile Data Networks)

In the Personal Hotspot section, make sure APN is set to sp.mb.com

For Android, check APN type, try both below as it could be case sensitive

APN Type: default,supl,mms,dun

APN Type: default,supl,mms,DUN

Thanks ive done all of this but hotspot hasn’t worked since day one with public mobile. Iphone 12

you sure the APN was showing sp.mb.com? Many had it for isp.mb.com and that was the reason it was not working. Also, make sure to leave Username and Password blank

and of course, make sure iOS is updated and get the latest Carrier Profile
