Hello

i ported my number from a SIM card to MY Esim and my account shows the new ported number but my phone is showing the temp number i chose when i bought the esim.

people can call me on the ported number, just wondering if this is a paper work issue and have to wait.?

is that an iPhone? go to iMessage settings, first remove the number, then reboot the phone. After the phone is up again, go back to the same setting page and enter the correct number back

just checked ported number shows up Temp number is not there anymore

Soliution was to go into my sign in and security settings make sure everything was right.

after that was done my device settings phone number was showing correctly

also had to change the phone number on 2FA for the account on public Mobile log in
