I just came back from a month overseas where I used an Australian SIM card.
After coming home I re-inserted my Public Mobile SIM card but don't have service (phone shows no bars and SOS above the signal).

On top of this if I go to my settings it says that my current provider is FIDO (my old provider before switching to public mobile).

Has anyone had anything like this happen to them?

Thanks!

Either you inserted FIOD SIM card by mistake or you are no longer having Public mobile active plan.
