$34 unlimited data plan is back, or wait, quebec only?

As I have 2 family members waiting for 'my plan'($34 50gb fast, unlimited data @ up to 512kbps after), I've been checking the plans waiting for it to return. I guess it detected me as being in quebec initially; before I selected Nova Scotia... Still it shows me this plan:

In the "Offer Details" at the very bottom it says for Quebec only... It did/does show it to me after selecting Nova Scotia.

Is publicmobile gonna let me get this for NS family members? Do they enforce it or might it be a throwback from when I was detected as quebec.

Only one $34/50gbCanada/US Roaming plan is available to existing customers. Still very good value. Do your family members think they would exhaust the 50gb every month that they would need the slow data ?

The "Offer Details" you see is a one single template cover for all plans, the words about Quebec only is about those Quebec only plan, which the $34 one is NOT, it is a plan for everyone

They are not existing customers, they want to be if they can get a ~$34 50gb-512kbps unlimited data after using up the "50gb" highspeed. 512kbps should be enough for ~240/480p video on youtube unlike their existing luckymobile that has 128kbps unlimited.

Unless I hear otherwise I guess they can just try signing up; however they are likely to charge for the first month to get mailed the simcard and maybe be stopped on activation if not quebec address..

Yes, they and I can easily use 50gb; I 'work' to try to stay under that but there's a lot of bloat data out there and I use my connection as hotspot and on the go.

the current $34 plan is a Canada-US plan and does not include unlimited 512kbps data

and if you do not have a credit card that linked to a Quebec address, you won't be able to activate a Quebec only plan

The plan your referring to is "not back" it is a new one that is Canada-US with(the important part) NO unlimited data after 50gb. Where as last month I signed up for the one without "US" service but had the '2' 512kbps unlimited after you used up your highspeed... (both were available at that time)
Unless of course they are obscuring things and the Canada-US does have unlimited data after 50gb but not mentioning it with the '2' details citation.

yes, the current $34 plan is NOT the same

the Canada only $34 plan is not currently available. Sound like you need the 512Kbps more, but technically, the Canada-US one is a better deal. But sorry, the Canada only $34 is NOT back at the moment

I am in NS and got the unlimited data plan last month but they ended it..(they day after family said to get it for them). So I have 2 family members in NS now 'wanting' the plan I have, so just trying to get it for them.. Guess I'll keep them waiting.. no unlimited data no sale.

I live in Nova Scotia and I just switched for when my next billing cycle starts. It confirms what I’ll be getting when I switch over and says unlimited data. I’d get your family to do it before it goes away 🙂

That could be just Public Mobile's sloppy messaging. If others are reporting that they can sign up with it and/or schedule a plan change then it's at least available right now. Or could be a case of hurry up before Public Mobile fixes their mistake.

@OnlPM It's offered in every province that I looked at. Remember the "offer details" don't all apply to any given plan. You have to match up the symbols/numbers with what's on the plan. The Quebec only note has a + but there is no + on the plan.
