International calling-phone issues?

I purchased international minutes some weeks ago but I cannot call USA numbers from my Samsung phone. Is there a setting I am missing on my phone or in my account? My husband has a different phone and has no problem calling same number

The international roaming long distance add on actually does not include USA. You will need to purchase the separate USA long distance add on.

I have all those INTL minutes given to us by PM for the More The Merrier promo's and I'm able to use those INTL minutes calling Canada and the US. Are those INTL minutes we get from the MTM promo different than buying the addon?

EDIT: @scanner There are certain numbers in the US that can't be called from Public Mobile which is odd. I'm sure someone here can share the area codes that can't be called. It's here somewhere.

If you bought the international add-on specifically for USA, you should try to open a ticket through the Chatbot:

Yes, the XMAS international calling minutes add on included United States and Canada. If I remember correctly. even the previous versions of the long distance add on included USA. However, the recent international long distance add ons do not include USA calling.

the bonus one from Merrier and the purchased one are different, that's why one is 500 mins and one is 300 mins to avoid confusion

the Merrier one can call less countries but include Canada and US, the purchased on have more countries

@scanner - Does your husband have a Canada-US plan? It includes free calling to the states unlimited.

Also maybe try putting a 1 /+1 as you may not reach the person you intended to dial.
